Prayer requests

In these ever-changing times, there is one steadfast, our loving God. The mission of our ministry and the vision of the Church are to be aware of the needs of others and respond to these needs through increased prayer. We have a team of prayer warriors ready to pray for you. Please click here so one of our angels can lift your prayers to the Lord. Please note all requests will be treated as confidential unless you ask they be added to the prayer list.

healing prayer service

If you are in need of prayer or healing, please come as you are to be prayed for.  Our service is open to all in our community. St. Philip's church offers the community a private and intimate opportunity for healing prayers, our bi-weekly service meets at 6:30 pm, twice per month, on Wednesdays in the Library (Room 103 facing the courtyard within the Educational Building complex).

NOTE: During the Lenten season, for the two Wednesdays, we will meet from 7:00 - 7:30 in the Library.

We welcome those who are experiencing tremendous pain in heart, body or mind. Come into a fellowship of Christians who believe that miracles happen when people gather in the name of Jesus Christ. The Methodist Church does not limit clergy to “anointing” only the most gravely ill. Our pastor offers a blessing of Chrism Oil and “laying on of hands” that can be shared with all for the healing of the soul, body and mind.

Masks are still being recommended for our meetings. If you cannot attend in person, yet would like prayers said for you or your loved ones, please contact our church office to share your information with our prayer team.

SHARE YOUR ANSWERED PRAYERS

How has GOD answered YOUR prayers?

As a way to share our faith with others, we are compiling the answered prayers of members of our congregation, your families and even friends. Too often we see the touch of God in our lives and we keep it to ourselves.

Please take this opportunity to let others see how God has been there for YOU in your hour(s) of need. You can submit as many answered prayers as you wish. Either click here to submit online, email them to the church office (office@spumchou.org), or bring them to church on a Sunday morning. You can indicate if you want them printed with your name or anonymously. By sharing how God has answered our prayers and changed our lives, we are witnessing God’s love to others.
