The Eklektikos Class
The Ekklektikos Class is led by John Guest and Bill Wilkson every Sunday morning at 9:15am in Room 103. Coffee and snacks are provided. The class usually involves a detailed study of the Bible with a companion book series. All are welcome.
THE gospels study
The Bible Study meets each Tuesday at 7:30 pm via Zoom. The class is led by Bill Wilkson and follows the Revised Common Lectionary. Please click here if you would like to join the discussion.
United methodist women
The UMW of St. Philip’s has existed as long as the
church has been in existence. Their primary function is Christian fellowship
with an emphasis on mission work.
The evening group, known as The Faith Night Circle, meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 pm in the Fellowship Hall for a light dinner, fellowship and a program. All women are welcome. We are a diverse group that shares a love for God, service, and our vibrant community.

The Faith Night Circle is on summer break! While we will not have our regular monthly meetings in June, July or August, we hope to get together for lunch or a group outing, so stay tuned!
active older adults (AOA)
Nearly every month, there are day trips for senior adults (age 50 and older) on a Harris County Precinct 3 bus to all types around Southeast Texas. Recent trips have included Brazos Bend, a theater production of Mamma Mia!, Historic Columbus and a tour of the Houston murals. Each outing includes lunch at local restaurant.
