daily lenten devotionals

This year our own Bill Wilkson created daily devotionals to enrich our relationship with God as we walked through the season toward Easter.

"The passages in the devotional were selected from the daily readings assigned by the Revised Common Lectionary. Typically, there are four readings: an Old Testament passage, and excerpts from a Psalm, an Epistle and a Gospel. From those four, I chose one to think about. Often, I narrowed the passage to focus my thoughts.

Every year, I’m asked what I’m giving up for Lent. This year, I’m giving up about 30 minutes of each day so sit with these scripture passages and to give my attention to God instead of all those other things that occupy my time. If you use this devotional, I hope it strengthens your relationship with God."
